ABOUT | ME

I am a late photography bloomer but from the first time I looked through the viewfinder of a half-decent mirrored camera I have been absolutely fascinated by what I see in my frames and through my lenses. Finally I had the tool to describe and capture how I see the world - full of structures, drama, details and contrasts. Simple in all its complexity and complex in all its simplicity.

My artwork reflects both my past and present. Being a Dane living in Norway, I got introduced to mountains around the same time as I discovered photography. I get a lot of my inspiration (and captures) from nature - both the grand and majestic views of and from mountaintops and the beauty of the many and often tiny creatures habitating the planet. My love for travel and discovering new corners of the world has shown me that while there is difference in the details, there are more similarities that unites us than divides us.

My background from banking and IT, including working for many years testing software in search of errors, logical flaws and improvement potential, affects how I work with my pictures to transform them into Tsujimoto photoart. The picture remains, but the expression is twisted, refined, challenged and, if not improved (that can be discussed) at least somewhat changed.
